Individual mentorship and tutoring
aimed at guiding and assisting students, in particular freshmen, to make them participate in the entire educational process, with the aim of preventing dropout and delay in studies, as well as promoting a profitable active participation in university life in all its forms. Services offered by ESU Services: 8 halls of residence; 4 dining halls in Verona; 7 study rooms, 180 seats equipped with Wi-Fi; access to all services and discounts on public transport.

Student Reception Service: Active stands and info-points offer initial information and orientation support to prospective students. Guided tours of the University's premises and facilities, illustrating the services offered.

The University's Job Placement Office is available to companies or entities that want to boost their workforce through graduates of the University of Verona. The University’s services, tools and events you need to prepare for the world of work and kick-start your career. UNIVR supports collaborations with companies by making university resources such as new technologies, research staff and facilities available for use in projects. We connect job seekers and job offers, putting companies in touch with young graduates through internships, work placements and graduate jobs.
Libraries
The University Library System consists of two main central Libraries and many Specialised Libraries. The University libraries are located at the Humanities, Economics and Law campus, and at the Medicine, Science and Technology campus. Library resources in hard copy and electronic format are made available. All resources are accessible via the university portal. Visa support and residence permit
Service offered by the International Relation Office and ISU Services (as detailed above): in order to organize your arrival, you might need support in finding information about immigration procedures; the EU Immigration Portal is a website intended for non-EU citizens who wish to migrate to the European Union. It contains up-to-date and practical information on EU and national immigration procedures, policies and entry procedures for non-Eu citizens coming to Italy. The ISU - International Students Union supports the University of Verona Welcome Office in assisting international guests before arrival and during their stay in Verona. Every international student/guest might get in contact with ISU in order to be supported in:
- requesting the Italian tax identification code (“codice fiscale”)
- searching for accommodation in private flats
- submitting the permit of stay request
- register with the National Health System or get private health insurance
Language courses
The University Language Center (CLA) of the University of Verona is a transversal structure whose purpose is to organize modern language courses, issue language certifications and support foreign language teaching and learning activities in collaboration with all courses of study activated in the University. CLA offers free language courses and tutorials with native speakers for all levels of language proficiency (from A1 to C2) in French, English, Russian, Spanish, German, and Italian courses for foreigners. The CLA organises Italian language courses - Italian L2 to develop language and intercultural skills and facilitate their inclusion in the Italian academic environment.
